Jewelry - FINALLY!

SO at 11pm tonight I finally had finished my first piece of jewelry! Now that I know exactly what I'm doing I feel kinda silly that it took me so long to make my first piece. Honestly though when you know nothing about making it, there are a lot of things you need to learn about. I'm still learning, that's for sure. SO...it's nothing AMAZING, but then again it is my first piece. I think the hardest part was once I was at the end and had very little wire left to work with when putting on my crimping bead and clasp.

So here it is :-)















My books are in at the library - so I'm going to go pick them up tomorrow! I got a few books about knitting and one about crocheting. Still not quite sure which one I'll decide on. I've found youtube videos to be incredibly useful too!

And as a total side note - someone on one of my freebie sites gave me a coupon for $50 off $100 at Old Navy!! So I went tonight and ended up with 2 pair of yoga crop pants, a cardigan, a top, a pair of sunglasses, and 2 fashion scarves in bright spring colors - ALL FOR $60 with tax. (Stupid NY charges sales tax on clothes) I was pretty darn excited!!
